The Rabbit Hole
I came through the clouded path/
I found it never lasts/
The rabbit hole is fading fast.
It hurt just like I thought it would/

And the Mad Hatter never looked so damn good.

The Queen of Hearts don't look so bad/
Not after what I've had/
And you make the pot smokin' cat look a little more sane.
The small door, just another obstacle/
I've already made it through them all/
There nowhere left to fall in the rabbit hole.

Fight This Ghost
It's all a state of mind/
It's all a waste of time/
Trying to figure out where you fall in line.

Till there's just nothing left to say now.

The ending of our fear, all different, all the same. Maybe it will be here one day when we can face our demons and fight our ghosts. Maybe if there was just nothing left to fear. One thing I know though and have known for a long time. If you can hold onto some hope it will always fight fear. Always. And hope will always win.

Goodnight Moon

I'm sorry I haven't been on much lately! I've been really busy. Pre-school will be ending for my son soon though and summer will be starting! If we can ever fully get into spring:)

My birthday is coming up along with another round of editing soon and a show next month. I've been writing and learning new songs and am totally excited for the future. Who wouldn't be?!

I just wanted to send a quick goodnight before my head meets the lovely pillow and wish all of you friends and followers sweet dreams.

It's all okay in the end. We just need to be told ever now and then don't we?

Lord God, I thank you for another day of life. For every heartbeat and breathe. I thank you for another day to live. I thank you for my successes and failures and pray you walk with me all the way. Let me know it will all be okay. Thank you for my family, my darlings, and all of my many blessing, never deserved but given anyway. I pray for all who need it. Goodnight Jesus. Goodnight moon. And goodnight world.
